Abstract
Two new monomers, N-3-alloxy,2-hydroxy propanyl,amino-4-2,2,6,6-tetram ethyl piperidine and N-2-hydroxy,hexenyl-5-amino-3-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl piperidine, were synthesized by direct addition reaction of 4-amino-2 ,2,6,6-tetramethyl piperidine to allyl glycidyl ether (AG) or 1,2-epox y-5-hexene (HEPO) at 80 degrees C. The structures of these two new mon omers were characterized by FT-IR, proton-NMR, UV-spectra, MS and elem ental analysis. The properties of these monomers are also described.
