Abstract
Superconductors with T(c) = 126.7 K have been obtained by post-anneali ng in Tl2O3 vapour and at 750-degrees-C for long periods of time. The role of Tl2O3 Vapour was investigated. It was found that it effectivel y prevented Tl loss and reduced the decomposition of Tl-2223 phase. A possible mechanism for the increase in T(c) of the Tl-2223 phase is di scussed.
