Abstract
Polymerization of some diacetylene and acrylic lipidlike monomers in m onolayers was examined. It was found that the kinetics of polymerizati on was controlled by the position of polymerizable groups in hydrophil ic and hydrophobic fragments of molecules and by the structure of mono mer layers.
