Abstract
Clinoptilorite was dealuminated by (NH4)(2)SiF6 solution. Three, four and five acid site types were determined by TPD of ammonia, pyridine a nd n-butylamine, respectively. Dealumination increased the relative am ount of weak acid sites. Extraframework aluminium remained in the reac tion product and lowered the accessibility of the strong acid sites.
