Ad. Tripathi, EXCESS MOLAR ENTHALPIES OF 1,1,2,2-TETRACHLOROETHANE WITH ACETONE, DIBUTYL ETHER, ACETONITRILE, AND DIMETHYL-SULFOXIDE AT 298.15 K, Journal of chemical and engineering data, 40(6), 1995, pp. 1262-1263
Measurements of excess molar enthalpies H-E at 298.15 K have been made
for binary liquid mixtures of 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane with acetone,
dibutyl ether, acetonitrile, and dimethyl sulfoxide. The values of H-
E at 298.15 K are negative for all four systems. These results indicat
e the existence of specific interactions of CHCl2CHCl2 with all these
compounds. The excess molar enthalpies (in absolute values) of these s
ystems decrease in the order dimethyl sulfoxide > acetone > acetonitri
le > dibutyl ether.
