K. Rykaczewski et al., IDENTIFICATION OF NEW NUCLEI AT AND BEYOND THE PROTON DRIP-LINE NEAR THE DOUBLY MAGIC NUCLEUS SN-100, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 52(5), 1995, pp. 2310-2313
The new neutron-deficient nuclei Sb-103, Sb-104, In-98, Pd-91, Rh-89,
and Ru-87 have been identified among the quasifragmentation products o
f a Sn-112 beam (63 MeV/nucleon). The fragment identification based on
energy-loss, total kinetic energy, and time-of-flight measurements ha
s been independently confined via observation of gamma radiation follo
wing the decay of known short-lived isomers. The region of known isoto
pes is extended to the predicted proton drip line for indium and silve
r, and beyond it for antimony and rhodium.
