Abstract
We investigate the effect of meson-decay diagrams on the proton-proton bremsstrahlung process. We explicitly include short-range correlation s by calculating single- and double-scattering diagrams using an NN T- matrix interaction. We find that in general these diagrams interfere d estructively with the corresponding Born amplitudes so that the net ef fect of the meson-decay process on proton-proton bremsstrahlung reacti ons is considerably smaller than that of the Born amplitude alone.
