Abstract
A new calculation of the binding energy of nuclear matter in the Bruec kner-Hartree-Fock approximation with the Paris potential using the sta ndard and continuous choices of single particle energies is presented, paying special attention to the numerical accuracy and higher partial waves. Comparison with other calculations is made and the accuracy of the state of the art for the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock method is assesse d.
