Abstract
The Cd-113 NMR spectrum of polymeric tetraaquobis(malonato)dicadmium(I I) 1 is characterized by two resonances and its crystal structure show s two cadmium sites in distinct chemical environments; the six- and ei ght-coordinate sites formed by oxygen donors are correlated with chemi cal shifts at delta 18 and -107, respectively.
