The work that has been performed since the beginning of 1993 in Milano
in the INFN Group V experiment ASPIDE (Analogue Silicon PIxel DEtecto
r) Italian partner (for the analogue readout development of hybrid pix
el detectors) of the CERN RD19 collaboration is resumed. The aim of th
ese experiments was to realize an analogue cell for the readout of hyb
rid pixel detectors. The Anapix cell has been successfully developed a
nd tested, both alone and connected to a pixel detector. The main resu
lt is a noise of about 100 electrons r.m.s. on the cell alone, about 1
90 electrons r.m.s. with the cell connected via wire bonding to pixel
detectors and a signal-noise ratio of about 120/1 for minimum ionising
particles.
