Abstract
Using a two-dimensional, two-color lattice Boltzmann automaton, the dy namics of the contact angle characterizing a fluid/fluid interface in contact with a moving substrate is simulated numerically. It is found that the velocity dependence of the contact angle is consistent with t he molecular kinetic theory.
