Abstract
Haemodynamic factors activate mechanochemiemission between the surface s of vessels and blood cells, i.e. optical, acoustic, heat and radioem issions which initiate formation of lipid peroxide radicals causing va scular wall damage. Subsequent development of mechanochemiemission rea ctions in lipids results in formation of atherosclerotic plaques in th e arterial intima.
