We present a FORTRAN code for the scattering of an electromagnetic pla
ne wave from an eccentrically placed sphere located within another sph
ere. This program calculates the Mueller scattering matrix elements, S
-ij, the extinction, scattering, and absorption efficiencies and the a
symmetry parameter. The incident angle of the incoming plane wave, the
free space wavelength, the radii, indices of refraction, and the dist
ance of separation between the centers of the two spheres are all arbi
trary. With minor modifications, the program can be made to vary in th
e incident beam, distance, or inclusion radius, Of particular interest
is the variation in the size of the host sphere, which can be simulat
ed to study the resonance features of a particular system. The main co
de and all the subroutines are in double precision to ensure a higher
degree of accuracy.
