Abstract
The structure and mechanical properties of the melt-spun rapidly solid ified Sn-1-x Sb-x and Sn Sb-8 Cu-0.5 alloys were investigated. The eff ect of composition as well as gamma irradiation were studied. The Sn S b, Cu-3 Sb and Cu-6 Sn-5 intermetallic compounds are presented. A low gamma-ray irradiation dose can be used as a useful technique to identi fy intermetallic compounds crystalline peak.
