Abstract
The variability of photosynthetic gas exchange parameters and dark res piration in Moricandia arvensis was enhanced by mutagen treatment and by growth of M2 plants under different light sources and after applica tion of dimethoate. A close correlation between CO2 compensation conce ntration and the product of dark respiration and intracellular resista nce was found. According to an earlier given mathematical model the da ta suggest a mean inhibition of mitochondrial respiration in light by 57%.
