Abstract
Single crystals of Cu0.5Ag0.5InSSe pentenary alloy were successfully g rown by chemical vapor transport technique using iodine as the transpo rting agent. X-ray analysis was carried out to determine the structura l parameters. Microstructures and morphological patterns on the surfac e of the grown crystals were observed which show the type of growth me chanisms involved in growth of this crystal. Microhardness analysis wa s also carried out for the grown crystals.
