Abstract
For an initial minimum-uncertainty-pro duct Gaussian wave packet incid ent on an opaque barrier we investigate how small its spread Delta k i n wave number must be in order that the Bohm trajectory mean transmiss ion time be well approximated by the stationary-state (Delta k = 0) ex pression of Spiller, Clark, Prance and Prance.
