The scaling properties of the temperature structure functions are expe
rimentally investigated in turbulent Rayleigh-Benard convection at low
Prandtl number. It is found that the temperature has the same scaling
exponents of a passive scalar in 3D homogeneous isotropic turbulence.
These exponents are obtained from the property of extended self-simil
arity, extending the scaling laws to the case of moderate Reynolds num
bers.
