Abstract
The indicator properties of the azo dye, 2-[(4-phenylthioacetic acid)a zo]-1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulphonic acid, have been investiga ted to establish its suitability as an indicator in complexometric tit ration of calcium and magnesium. The pK values of the indicator; the s toichiometry and stability constant. for the calcium and magnesium com plexes are reported.
