Abstract
The structure determination of the title compound -(eta5)-1,2-diethylc yclopentadienyl]diiron(II,III) triiodide chlorobenzene solvate, [Fe2(C 9H13)2(C10H8)](I3).C6H5Cl (10)} indicates that this mixed-valence cati on has a valence-trapped electronic state.
