C. Rodier et M. Robert, A NEW APPROACH TO PHOSPHORUS SPECIATION I N SOILS, Comptes rendus de l'Academie des sciences. Serie II. Sciences de la terre et des planetes, 321(9), 1995, pp. 769-774
An analytical electronic microscopy study of phosphorus (P) bearing pa
rticles in an acid soil and a carbonated soil brings a new approach to
P speciation based on the distribution of the kind of P-bearing parti
cles rather than directly on the linking element between the P and the
mineral phase. This approach shows a great number of low P proportion
2:1 phyllosilicates particles and an importance of iron, aluminium or
calcium containing particles for the particles with a higher P propor
tion.
