Abstract
A preliminary biostratigraphy of the Neogene and Quaternary aeolianite s of the Southern Sperrgebiet in the Namib Desert is confirmed by a mo re complete stratigraphic sequence which crops out in the Awasib area (Namib-Naukluft Park) in Diamond Area No. 2, Namibia.
