Abstract
Hemorrhage from the gastrointestinal tract can be a challenging clinic al problem when it persists and the source remains obscure. Intraopera tive enteroscopy has been shown to be of value when standard diagnosti c tests fail to localize the source of bleeding. We describe a case of small bowel hemorrhage that required multiple trips to the operating room. Paired ileostomies were fashioned, which led to the successful l ocalization and resection of the responsible segment of the small inte stine.
