Abstract
Formylferrocenyl-3-hydroxyl-2-naphthoylhdrazone and its transition met al coordination compounds have been synthesized and characterized by e lemental analyses, i.r., H-1-n.m.r., u.v.-vis., t.g.-d.t.a. and molar conductivities. The results show that the ligand coordinates to transi tion metal ions in the enolic form, accompanied by the release of acet ate or nitrate.
