Abstract
The status of technological developments for the separation and purifi cation of CO from industrial gas streams is discussed. The scope and p rospects for adsorptive and membrane separation processes are highligh ted. An assessment has been made of the most promising technology, whi ch is dependent on feed gas type and process conditions.
