Abstract
In our continuing study of correlation energies in both hetero- and ho monuclear diatomics, contact is established here with the first-princi ples study of S. Kais, S. M. Sung and D. R. Herschbach (1994, Int. J. Quantum Chem., 49, 657) on atomic correlation energies. Their results derive from renormalization of the large-dimension limit. Similarities of scaling are revealed for light homonuclear diatomics.
