Abstract
Within the known system of levels of Nd I, additional classifications have been made of spectral lines terminating on the lowest levels of t he 4f(4)6s(2 5)I state. To carry out the classification, results have been used from measurements of the excitation cross-sections of neodym ium by the method of extended crossing beams.
