Abstract
In the oocytes of Dysdercus intermedius Distant 1902, the 'nucleolus-l ike bodies: dispersed between synapting chromosomes, are collected by rotating ring-shaped 'annulets' at the end of the previtellogenic grow th period. These annulets represent an intermediate stage of endobodie s, a system for the transportation of rRNA from the germinal vesicle t owards the ooplasm. Examinations were carried out by AVEC-DIC microsco py.
