Abstract
Fetal malformations can be diagnosed antenatally by biochemical screen ing,karyotype analysis or ultrasound scanning. Good teamwork and commu nication is necessary between obstetrician, paediatrician, geneticist and ultrasonographer to explain the significance of any abnormality to a pregnant woman.
