Abstract
The surface complexes Rh-I(CO)(N-2)(+) with nu(CO) 2062 cm(-1) and V(N -2) 2252 cm(-1) and Rh-l(N-2)(2)(+) nu(N-2) 2244 + 2218 cm(-1), which are stable in flowing nitrogen up to 250 degrees C, have been synthesi sed from Rh-I(CO)(2)(+) on highly dealuminated zeolite Y (DAY, US-Ex).
