NASAL TIP REPAIR WITH AXIAL FLAP OF NASAL MUSCLE

The procedure described here consists of a myocutaneous axial flap wit h lateral pedicle. It uses the transverse part of the nasal muscle tha t goes forward in rotation and the lateral and superior portions of th e flap in the V-Y. The procedure is useful for repairing losses of nas al tip and the surrounding area. It is a simple method that can be use d to reconstruct the brim near the tip of the nose, yielding an aesthe tically and functionally efficient nose.
