Abstract
The absorption spectrum of vacuum deposited phthalocyanine thin films showed a comparatively broad absorption region at the wavelength regio n 580-850 nm, which matched with the wavelengths of semiconductor diod e lasers. The optical recording performance and the read-out degradati on test were investigated and analysed.
