Rhigonema euprepeia n. sp. is described from the gut of a glomerid mil
lipede from Vietnam. It is characterised by: short body length; very l
ong reflexed ovejector comprising a short vagina vera a and a long vag
ina uterina; absence of a vaginal diverticulum; densely pilose cervica
l region, the delicate microtrichs having reflexed lips; spicules prox
imally hamate with a Small velum surrounding each distal tip; and copu
latory papillae disposed as in the African and Indian species, i.e. th
ree pairs of post-cloacal papillae subdorsal or lateral in position. S
