Abstract
A detailed anatomic and histological description of Cerianthus lloydii , an abundant species from the flooded volcanic crater on Ushishir isl and (the Kuril islands) and its differential diagnosis is given. This species is found also in the Barents Sea, the White Sea, the Kara Sea and the Sea of Japan. Probably, C. lloydii is the only species of ceri antharians inhabiting the seas of northern and eastern coasts of Russi a.
