Abstract
A new polyol, 2,2,6,6-tetra(oxymethyl)cyclohexanol (TOCH), has been su ggested for analysis of boric acid. A reaction constant for neutraliza tion of the complex acid has been calculated. The possibility of titra tion of 0.1 M boric acid in the presence of TOCH with an accuracy of /-0.10% has been shown theoretically and confirmed experimentally.
