Abstract
A rapid method of analysis of liquid dielectrics for gas content (in p articular, hydrogen in transformer oil) is proposed. The method is bas ed on the measurement of the change in the resonance frequency of a so rbent-coated piezoelectric element that is produced by the uptake of a n analyte gas.
