Abstract
Ln(Sr)CoO3-delta(Ln = La, Pr, Nd) solid solutions as high-temperature mixed ion and electron conductors are described. Electrical conductivi ty and oxygen permeability as function of temperature and oxygen parti al pressure were measured. A model for the oxygen flow density through the mixed conductor caused by chemical potential gradient is proposed . Values of partial oxide ionic conductivity were calculated. It was f ound that oxygen permeability decreases in the La > Pr > Nd sequence. (C) 1995 Academic Press,lnc.
