Abstract
Integral longwave radiative fluxes and cooling rates are calculated fo r the volume of the atmosphere, inside the clouds and in their vicinit y. The calculations are based on the data of the Zvenigorod experiment in 1992. The case of solid stratocumulus clouds is considered. Calcul ated downward fluxes at the ground surface are compared with the resul ts of corresponding measurements.
