Abstract
The results of the demonstration project are summarized with particula r reference to the final trial, on Scunthorpe's Queen Victoria furnace . At Scunthorpe, attention to a range of operating parameters, particu lary burden distribution control and oxygen enrichment levels allowed brief periods of stable operation with a coal injection rate of 230 kg /tHM and coke rates of 275-280 kg/tHM.
