Abstract
In view of weak implication of immunoinflammatory mechanisms in pathog enesis of noninflammatory nephropathy one may expect the disease cours e improvement and more slow progression of renal dysfunction. The mech anism of this action can be realized through hypolipidemic effect In r ecent research there are data on a direct lovastatin action on the mec hanism underlying nephritis progression by means of inhibiting prolife ration of mesangial cells.
