Abstract
The effect of medium dielectric inhomogeneity on the solvent reorganiz ation energy in charge transfer processes is investigated for the mode l describing reactants as two dielectric spheres. It is shown that thi s effect is of the order of 16% for the contact position of the reacta nts and decreases when the inter-reactant distance increases.
