Abstract
Field colonies of the almond moth, Ephestia cautella, were tested for susceptibility to organophosphates and synthetic pyrethroids. There we re no clear indications of resistance in the moth to these insecticide s. The insecticidal activity of pyrethroids with cyclic propane in the structure was distinctively stronger than those with no cyclic propan e structure.
