Abstract
The contribution and environmental impact of persistent chlorinated ma terial from bleached pulp mill effluents along the Swedish coast was s tudied in the Baltic Sea. The principal problems looked into were to w hat extent the mills contributed to the load of organochlorine materia l in the Baltic Sea and how far from the mills persistent compounds we re distributed.
