Abstract
A new method for the determination of ofloxacin in human plasma was de veloped. Plasma proteins were precipitated with acetonitrile, the supe rnatant concentrated and injected into a reversed-phase C-18 column. E noxacin was used as an internal standard. The fluorimetric detection w as performed at 282 nm for excitation and 450 nm for emission. Limit o f quantitation was 20 ng/ml and the calibration curve was linear up to 6900 ng/ml.
