The high spin states in Te-121, populated via the Cd-114(B-11,p3n) rea
ction at 60 MeV, have been investigated using gamma-ray spectroscopic
techniques. The level structure above the nu h(11/2) isomeric state (t
(1/2)=154d) has been substantially extended upto J(pi)=51/2(-) at an e
xcitation energy of 8293 keV. Non-collective oblate states based on (p
i g(7/2)(2) X nu h(11/2))(21/2-2-) and (pi g(7/2)(2) X nu h(11/2)(3))(
39/2-) have bean identified.
