Abstract
The first independent Te deposit discovered in China occurs at norther n plunging end of Dashuigou thermal dome (diapiric granite) in centrel part of Daduhe ductile shear zone. The deposit is represented by an a ssemblage of Te, Bi, Se, Au, Ag and Cu, in which Te is a main minerali zing element. The orebody occurs as vein form, oblique to Triassic met amiorphic rocks. Studies of mineralogy, fluid inclusion and stable iso tope geochemistry suggest that Te has been concentrated during the ear ly period af mineralization, and mineralization fluid may be related t o hydrothermal solution from granitic magma and meteoric water is cons equent upon the fluid in the late period of Au mineralization. Prelimi nary study suggests that Dashuigou deposit represents a type of indepe ndent mesothermal Te deposit, which is mostly related to granitic hydr othermal origin.
