Abstract
The use of elevated heating rates in heat treatment of steel products promotes structural states in them that are characterized by improved mechanical and operating properties and in most cases cannot be attain ed under conditions of conventional heating in furnaces, In the presen t work the structure and mechanical properties of low-alloy steels aft er their thermal strengthening by the method of mechanoelectrical heat treatment (MEHT) are described.
