Abstract
The experiments were conducted on 96 rabbits aged 6 months, of body we ight 2.5 kg, which were divided into three genetic groups: White New Z ealand, Zobor and Nitran. Experimental animals have been transferred t o new cages every day for 30 days. The level of triglycerides decrease d in all investigated tissues of rabbits. Total lipids and cholesterol did not change significantly in some animals with the exception of a significant decrease in the liver and kidney of Zobor rabbits and the kidney of Nitran rabbits.
