Abstract
Two cats, were diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. Histopathological findings included evidence of malignancy in both cats. Evidence for ly mphatic invasion was present in one cat, and pulmonary metastasis was documented in the other cat. Basal cell tumors usually are considered to be benign neoplasms which may be invasive locally, but metastasis i s rare.
