Abstract
The temperature dependence of the double-layer capacity of a quasi-per fect Cd(0001) electrode in iodine-containing solutions was investigate d. The data were used to evaluate several adsorption parameters as wel l as the entropy of double-layer formation. It was assumed chemisorpti on of iodine ions occurs at positive electrode charges.
